Discovering the Via Francigena with children

The Via Francigena stretches through Terre di Siena for a distance of 120 kilometres, beginning in the north from San Gimignano, travelling to Monteriggioni then Siena and continuing from there to San Quirico d'Orcia, as far as Radicofani.
Families with children of all ages can travel the Via Francigena and enjoy walks in the countryside in the open air in all seasons, choosing shorter or longer distances, depending on difficulty and the different tourist itineraries and activities available to younger walkers. They will receive a welcome characterised by respect for the environment, cultural opportunities, tradition and the local produce offered by excellent hotels, bed & breakfasts, hostels, spa centres, restaurants and shops within the Terre di Siena green circuit
